mad4mini is owned and run by Mike Favager and Richard Heeley.
Mike has been in the motor trade since 1990 completing a full 3 year city and guilds motor vehicle qualification whilst
training at an independent multi franchise on the Wirral. He then worked for 5 years at a large Peugeot franchise before
moving to West Yorkshire for the love of a good woman. He has since worked with Honda and then set up an independent
car franchise in Leeds with some ex-colleagues from Honda. He has also spent 4 years controlling a Ferrari
franchise workshop that also included Maserati and Lotus.
In 2005 Mike then joined Mini at a large dealership in West Yorkshire and has carried out many manufacturer training
courses gaining BMW/Mini service technician status.
Richard has been in the motor trade since leaving school. He completed a Level 3 City and Guilds in motor vehicle
repair and servicing and then spent 3 years as a qualified technician with Vauxhall. Richard has worked and trained with the
Mini product since 2003 completing numerous training courses with the manufacturer on both the original Mini
and the new R56 MODEL. The courses included intense training on the new engines N12 COOPER , N14 COOPER S and W16 COOPER DIESEL.
Richard has also completed various engine management training courses.
